"I believe the synergy within BTS will be enormous in 2025. I'm really looking forward to that," emphasized Jungkook of the group BTS in an interview with Apple Music's Global Creative Director Jane Rowe on the 10th.
In reference to the year 2025, when BTS members aim to resume full team activities after completing their military service, Jungkook expressed, "2025 may feel far away, but I never think that way."
Reflecting on his solo endeavors, Jungkook shared, "While preparing as a solo artist and working independently, there were moments when I truly missed my members. Whether in the waiting room, standing alone on stage, or sharing meals with the staff, the absence of a member who had been by my side for several years was palpable."
Acknowledging the privilege of being the youngest member of the team, Jungkook openly expressed his gratitude, saying, "I think I received a lot of help from the members, whether I knew it or not. With the support of the six members, I was able to grow into the person I am today."
Conducted at the Hive headquarters in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, the interview showcased Jungkook's mature perspective, as he stated, "I think it's foolish to be tied up in the past. My life goal is to acknowledge what needs acknowledgment, regret what needs regretting, and move forward."
When asked about his decision to pursue a solo career, Jungkook credited the three rapper Line members, RM, Suga, and J-Hope, as his biggest influences. He shared, "The vocal members stimulated me in that regard. I enjoyed working solo and collaborating with others in this album. It was nice to sing songs with lyrics covering various genres and topics, working closely with foreign producers overseas. The recording process was enjoyable, and I felt a great sense of accomplishment when completing each song."
Expressing the indescribable joy of singing as a singer, Jungkook said, "It's such a good feeling that I wonder if it's heaven. Singing in the same space with people who support me is a truly happy experience."
In the interview, Jungkook also revealed his deep love for the BTS fandom, 'Army.' He stated, "We have a special bond with ARMY, and the most special thing is that we rely on each other. While we remain polite to our fans, our relationship is akin to that of friends who can tell us anything."
Jungkook concluded by emphasizing, "My top priority is not myself, my family, or BTS members, but ARMY. Thanks to the fans, setting goals and enjoying the process of achieving them becomes an achievement in itself."
